Ages 7 and up
Get your doll all ready for winter, spring and Valentines’ Day.  For 18” dolls and teddy bears.
DATES: Saturdays, January 21, February 4, April 14
TIME: 10:00 a.m. – noon, January class is 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

THROWING ON THE WHEEL
Ages 10 and up
Learn the basics of how to throw on the potter’s wheel. Limited enrollment, so register early.
DATES: Wednesdays, February 1 – March 7
TIME: 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.

FABULOUS FELT
Ages 10 and up
From needle felting to shrinking an old sweater to make mittens, felting is full of fun, fashion and surprises.
DATES: Tuesdays, February 7 - 28
TIME: 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

ART BUGS
Ages 2-4
Introduce children to the museum as a friendly place while they explore art materials through age-appropriate activities.
DATES: Wednesdays, February 29 – April 18, no class March 14 or 28
TIME: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

SPRING BREAK ART CAMP
Grades 1- 6
Come on down to the Museum for a week of making things, building, painting and creating. We’ve got tons of awesome projects dreamed up just for you!
DATES: Monday, March 12 through Friday, March 16
TIME: 8:00 a.m. – noon
FEE: $66, Members $59

CREATING WITH CLAY
Ages 5 and up
Get into the wonderful world of clay and see what you can make.
DATES: Wednesdays, March 21 – April 25
TIME: 4:00 – 5:30 a.m.

SPRING FUN
Ages 6 and up
The snow has melted! Design and decorate a spring hat.

*Please note: REFUND REQUESTS will be honored if the request occurs ONE WEEK PRIOR to the first meeting of the class.

Scholarships Available

Through generous donations from individuals and groups in the community, scholarships are available to students who normally would not be able to experience an art class. For more information or to donate towards a class scholarship, please contact Linda Willeke, Education Coordinator, at  641-421-3666.

Artful Birthday PartiesBday Girl

The Museum offers artistic experiences for birthday and troop celebrations. Your group will receive a tour of the museum and a hands-on art activity in one of our classrooms. The fee includes the services of an art educator, all project materials, and the use of the Museum kitchen facilities. Children should wear clothes appropriate for doing art projects!
