The Shop features artwork by selected professional area and regional artists. The Museum exhibits these works to the public and acts as an agent for the artists. All of the works are offered for sale, while paintings, prints, and photographs can be rented on a monthly basis or purchased. Works from all media are available including sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and glass works.

The Shop also carries a variety of stationery items, permanent collection postcards, catalogs, T-shirts, Bil Baird items.

NEW to the Shop are art mugs, Frank Lloyd Wright ornaments and jewelry, scarves, homemade soaps from Iowa Natural Soapworks, wax seals and stamps, paint sets, art umbrellas and totes, and even a Kids' Corner.

A part of the museum's program since 1967, The Shop is one more exhibit space where visitors can see and learn about art.

Bill Mateer

Bill Mateer, who makes his home in rural Sheffield, has created decorative and functional pottery for more than thirty years. Mateer is a potter, adjunct instructor of ceramics at NIAAC, and also a dedicated Museum volunteer. For more information, please call 641-421-3666.
